Ziqi (Lydia) Yan
Lydia Ziqi Yan is a creative designer, new media artist, and media researcher whose work bridges ecology, technology, and speculative design. With a focus on human-nonhuman relationships and critical approaches to biotech futures, her practice explores how design can visualize and reimagine complex ecological and cultural systems. Lydia earned her B.S. in Interactive Media Arts with honors and a double major in Humanities (Media Studies) from NYU Shanghai, and recently completed her Master of Design Studies in the Ecologies domain at Harvard Graduate School of Design.
